Monkeybiz takes on traditional African blankets by Artist Asemahle Ntlonti for WHATIFTHEWORLD Gallery. 

Monkeybiz was approached by artist Asemahle Ntlonti and WHATIFTHEWORLD Gallery in 2021 to help craft a collection of traditional beaded blankets for Ntlonti's second solo exhibition. 

The exhibition, Vuthulula, is an exploration of Ntlonti's isiXhosa heritage where traditional blankets and beads hold significant cultural weight. 

Monkeybiz selected 6 experienced bead artists to work on this project alongside Ntlontli to bring her vision to life.
